Students: start here
A guide for students: join your class with an invitation, a code or a class link, find your way around the home page, and set up Kelasi on your phone.
On this page
Welcome! This page is for students. It shows how to get into your class and find your way around. You don’t need to install anything: Kelasi works in the browser on your phone or laptop.
Get into your class
Your school or tutor gives you one of these. Each works a little differently:
- Open the link from your WhatsApp group, or scan the QR code with your phone’s camera.
- You’ll see the class: its name, teacher and what’s in it.
- Create an account with your name, email and a password (or sign in if you already have one).
- You land straight in the class.
If the class costs something to join, you’ll be asked to pay and upload proof first. See paying for a class.
- Open the email from Kelasi and choose the link. Invitations last 7 days.
- Create an account using the same email the invitation was sent to, or sign in with Google using that email.
- Choose the name your teachers and classmates will see.
- Go to kelasi.id/login.
- Under Teacher or student?, type the code from your school or tutor and choose Continue with code.
- Create your account. You join the organization; then open Discover Courses to find and join more courses, if your school lists any there.
For a live quiz code (6 characters), see live quizzes.
Your home page
After signing in you land on your Dashboard:
- A greeting with how many things you have left to finish.
- Search for a course, an assignment or a quiz.
- Your week at a glance: due this week, overdue, your day streak and average grade.
- Pick up where you left off: the last course you opened, with Continue.
- Due soon and This week: deadlines and meetings.

On your phone
Every page is made for small screens. Quizzes open full screen, and you can hand in homework by taking a photo straight from the assignment.
To open Kelasi like an app, add it to your home screen: in Chrome on Android, open the menu and choose Add to Home screen; in Safari on iPhone, tap Share then Add to Home Screen.
Live quizzes
When your teacher starts a live quiz, you get a notification with the code. Scan the QR on the screen, or open Join live quiz and type the 6-character code. Answer on your phone before the timer runs out; fast correct answers score more.
Paying for a class
If a class link has a price:
- Copy the amount and pay to one of the accounts shown, or scan the QRIS code with your banking or e-wallet app.
- Upload a photo or screenshot of the transfer receipt (or a PDF), with a note if someone else paid.
- Wait for the admin to check it. You’ll get a notification, and the same link takes you into the class.
If your proof is turned down, you’ll see why and can send a new one. Kelasi never holds your money; it goes straight to your school or tutor.
