Plans, seats and billing
How Kelasi plans work: Gratis, Plus, Pro and Institution, seats, the free Pro trial, AI runs, extra storage, QRIS or transfer, and what happens if you stop.

Kelasi is free to start. Paid plans add room to grow and features for running a bigger place. This page explains how plans work. Exact prices and limits change from time to time, so the pricing page always has the current numbers.

Always free, on every plan: joining a class, handing in work and quizzes, grading, in-app notifications, WhatsApp links, manual payment records, messages and discussions.
Seats
A seat is one student in one course that is still running. A student in Math and Physics uses 2 seats. Bills use the highest count in the month. Ended courses and paused or removed students don’t count.

Going over your seats? Students can still join. You get 14 days to upgrade before paid features lock.
The free trial
New organizations start on Gratis. When a free Pro trial is on offer, it runs for the number of days shown on the pricing page, then your organization moves back to Gratis unless you choose a plan. Nothing is deleted, and content over the Gratis limits stays readable.
See what you use
Manage › Billing shows your current plan, when it renews or the trial ends, and a Usage list: seats, teachers, active courses, new quizzes and assignments this month, bank questions, live quizzes, meetings, storage and AI runs, each against your plan’s limit. Monthly counts start again on the 1st.
When you reach a limit, Kelasi tells you which plan removes it. Teachers who aren’t the owner can Ask the owner, which copies a ready-made WhatsApp message.
Choose or change a plan
Only the owner can choose a plan.
Open Billing
Go to Manage › Billing and choose Change plan.
Monthly or yearly
Switch between Monthly and Yearly; yearly saves two months. Kelasi shows what your organization would pay now, based on its current seats or students.
Choose the plan
Choosing a plan makes an invoice. Nothing is charged until you pay it.
Pay an invoice
Invoices are in Rupiah and need no credit card. Open one from Billing › Invoices:
- Pay online: QRIS for monthly bills (scan with any banking or e-wallet app), a virtual account for yearly bills. The invoice marks itself paid as soon as the payment goes through.
- Bank transfer: transfer the exact amount with the invoice number as the transfer note. Transfers are confirmed by hand, usually within one working day.
You can Print or save PDF, Send on WhatsApp (to whoever pays), or Cancel invoice if you change your mind.
AI runs and top-ups
Each paid plan includes a number of AI runs a month. When they run out, owners and admins can buy a top-up from Billing. Top-ups last 12 months and are used after the monthly runs.
Extra storage
Each plan includes storage for everything uploaded in your organization. If you need more, owners and admins can add it on any paid plan, without changing plans.
Open Billing
Go to Manage › Billing and find Extra storage, under your usage.
Choose how much
Add storage in blocks (for example 10 GB at a time). Kelasi shows what you pay now and what it adds to each bill. The pricing page has the current price per block.
Pay the invoice
Adding makes an invoice for the rest of your current period only. The storage is ready as soon as it is paid. From then on it is billed together with your plan; yearly plans pay for it yearly, with the same discount.
Need less later? Choose Lower or Stop at next bill. The change starts from your next bill; there are no refunds for the period you already paid. Your files stay. If they use more than you keep, new uploads stop until you delete files or add storage again.
Extra storage is for paid plans in a paid period. During a free trial, or on Gratis, choose a plan first. If your organization drops to Gratis because a bill went unpaid, the extra storage ends with the plan.
If you stop paying
- Your data is never deleted.
- If an invoice goes unpaid, your organization drops to Gratis limits 7 days after it was due.
- Content over the limits stays readable; you just can’t add more until you upgrade or tidy up.
Questions
Does Kelasi collect tuition from my students? No. Kelasi records student payments and sends reminders, but parents pay you directly. See tuition payments.
Can I get an official invoice for the school’s finance office? Yes, on the Institution plan, with yearly bank transfer.
