Kelasi is one place to teach, grade and run your classes. Private tutors, tutoring centers (bimbel) and schools use it to share materials, set assignments and quizzes, keep a gradebook, print report cards and keep track of tuition. Students use it from a phone or a laptop to see what is due, hand in work and check their grades.

Everything works in Bahasa Indonesia and English, in light and dark mode, and on small screens.

How Kelasi is organized

Everything in Kelasi lives inside an organization: your school, your tutoring center, or just you as a private tutor. An organization has people (admins, staff, teachers and students) and courses. Each course holds its own materials, assignments, quizzes, meetings and discussions.

One organization holds people and courses. Each course has its own content, while the question bank, gradebook, report cards and payments work across the whole organization.

A few things are shared across the whole organization rather than kept per course: the question bank, the gradebook, report cards, payments, the calendar and messages.

What you can do with it

Who uses Kelasi

The person who creates the organization becomes its owner and an admin. Admins set up the organization, create courses, invite people, set course fees and choose a plan. Start with the quickstart, then read members and invitations.

Teachers are added to courses by an admin. In their courses they add materials, set assignments and quizzes, run live quizzes, grade work and follow each student’s progress. Start with creating and running courses.

Staff handle the front office: enrollment, invitations and tuition. They don’t teach, grade or change settings. See roles and permissions.

Students join with an invitation, a code or a class link, then learn in the courses they join. There is a guide written just for them: Students: start here.

Things worth knowing first

  • Kelasi never handles your students’ money. It records who has paid, sends reminders and prints receipts, but tuition is paid straight to you. See tuition payments.
  • Your data is never deleted when a plan ends. Content over the free limits stays readable. See plans, seats and billing.
  • Each person picks their own language. Teachers and students in the same organization can use different languages.
  • Changes show up live. When a student hands in work or a teacher posts a grade, everyone’s screen updates without reloading.
