People join your organization in a few different ways. Pick whichever suits how you already talk to them: email for a school, WhatsApp for a tutoring center, a code on the whiteboard for a classroom.

  • Email invitationLasts 7 days. Can also enroll a student in one course.Teachers, staff, admins, studentsOrganization
  • Personal join linkAn invitation without the email. Share it on WhatsApp; it only works for that email.Anyone you inviteOrganization
  • Organization join codeOne code for everyone. Students join the organization, then pick courses.StudentsOrganization

  • Paid class linkStudents pay you directly and upload proof. In once approved.StudentsStraight into a class
  • Discover CoursesStudents browse the catalog. They join at once or wait for a teacher's approval.StudentsStraight into a class
You can use any mix of these. Students who come in with the organization code still join courses after that.

Invite people

Open Manage › People (staff: People) and choose Invite people.

  1. Choose their role

Under Invite as, pick Student, Teacher, Staff or Admin. Staff can invite teachers and students only.

  2. Pick a course (students)

For students you can choose a course to enroll them in at the same time, or No course, just the organization.

  3. Add email addresses

Type or paste them, separated by commas, spaces or new lines. A column copied from a spreadsheet works too, so you can paste a whole class list at once. Kelasi skips anyone already invited or already a member and tells you who.

  4. Email them, or get links to share

With Email the invitation on, each person gets an email with a link to join. Invitations last 7 days.

Turn it off to send no email: you get a personal join link for each person to share yourself on WhatsApp or by your own email. Each link only works for that email address. Copy all copies every link at once.

What the invited person does

They open the link, create an account (or sign in, if they already have one) with the invited email, and set the name people will see. Then they’re in, with the role you chose. Accounts that sign in with Google must use the same email address.

Pending invitations

The Invitations tab shows every invitation and where it stands: Pending, Joined, Expired, Declined, Revoked or Email not delivered. Filter by Open, Expired, Accepted or Revoked or declined, and sort by expiring first.

For each one you can Resend, Send again (for expired ones), Copy join link, Share on WhatsApp or Revoke it.

The organization join code

A single join code lets students join without a personal invitation: write it on the board or post it in a group. Set it up in Settings › Join code.

  • Create join code makes one. Share the code or its link.
  • New code replaces it; the old one stops working at once, and students who already joined stay.
  • Turn off disables it.

Members

The Members tab lists everyone with their role and when they joined. Search, filter by role or Paused, and sort by name, newest or role. Select people to Set role, change Access (pause or resume), Copy emails or Export a CSV. See roles and permissions for changing roles, pausing and removing people.

Courses students can find

Students in your organization can join more courses themselves from Discover Courses. You choose which courses show there and whether each is free, by approval or paid. See Discover courses.
