Your account is yours, not your organization’s. It keeps your name, how you sign in and your preferences, and it carries across every organization you belong to. Open it from your avatar in the top right, then Account.

Profile

  • Name: what teachers and students see. Use your full name so people recognize you.
  • About you and Phone: optional.
  • Email: your sign-in address. It can’t be changed here.

Appearance

Choose Light, Dark or Device. Device follows your phone or computer.

Notifications

Choose whether you get pop-ups in the app for new activity, and whether important notifications also come by email. See messages and notifications for what each one covers.

Sign in and passwords

You can sign in with an email and password, or with Continue with Google. Admins, teachers and students all sign in at the same page: kelasi.id/login.

Change your password

  1. Ask for a code

In Account › Password, choose Change password, then Email me a code.

  2. Enter the code and a new password

Type the code from the email and a new password of at least 8 characters, twice. Choose Save password.

If you sign in with Google, there is no password to change.

Forgot your password

On the sign-in page choose Forgot your password?, enter your email and you’ll get an 8-digit code. Enter it with a new password. If no email arrives within a few minutes, check your spam folder or choose Resend code.

Signed-in devices

To keep one account from being shared by a whole class, each account can be signed in on a limited number of devices at once: by default 2 for students and 3 for teachers, staff and admins. Signing in on one more device signs out the one that was used longest ago.

Account › Signed-in devices lists every device with when it was last active. Choose Sign out next to any device you don’t recognize or no longer use.

Leaving an organization

Admins who aren’t the owner can leave from the organization’s Settings › Danger zone › Leave organization. They lose access to its courses and people, and need a new invitation to come back. Teachers, staff and students ask an admin to remove them from People. The owner can’t leave; only the owner can delete the organization.
